Best Cardio Exercises at Home

It is important to explain what cardio exercises are before getting into the detail of different exercises, their procedure, and benefits. In simple terms, all the exercises that increase your heart rate resulting in pumping out more blood from heart are known as cardio exercises. These exercises are really good for the heart, lungs, and overall health of a person. If you perform these exercises daily, you need not go to the gym every day and perform extra heavy exercises. All the exercises we are going to suggest can easily be done at home without any equipment and space. Let’s start the drill:

Burpees:

Burpees are very beneficial in a very short time. You can burn more than 100 calories in 10 minutes. But, it should be done with ample care and work out pressure needs to increase slowly otherwise you may face injury issues. Burpee is a simple exercise regime of pushups and standing up. This is the way you can increase your heart rate but keep in mind not to exercise a lot on the first day. This might have grave repercussions. It is also advised to watch a video on YouTube before performing it. Otherwise, you may undergo an injury. 

Jump Rope:

Many children who were born in the 20th century have always loved Jump Rope. Jumping Rope can be regarded as the best cardio exercise. It is easy to do at home and has limitless benefits. The only equipment needed is an easily available jumping rope. A 20-minute workout will do a great deal. It will easily burn up to 220 calories of your body and will rejuvenate your overall body health.

Jumping Jacks:

Jumping Jacks is again a famous exercise that many have done in their school. Very similar to burpees, it burns almost 100 calories on a work-out of 10 minutes. You can also make a chronology of a few exercises that may include; burpees, jump rose, jumping jacks, and even squats to maintain your health. You will see a great difference in your cardio health after a few days.

Squat Jumps:

Squat jump is another phenomenal cardio exercise. It can be done with other exercises as well as exclusively. It warms up your body and burns a hefty amount of calories. As the name implies, it is an exercise in which you do a simple squat followed by a high jump. This drill is repeated again and again to increase your heart rate. Try doing at least 20 raps at the start and then increase it with the time.

Dancing:

What better exercise there would be than dancing? This is the best exercise where one enjoys the most. All you have to do is to switch on your favorite song and start dancing. When you move your muscles freely, it helps a lot in the movement of blood throughout the body. You can dance on Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock and other music genres of your likings.

Running the Stairs:

Running the stairs strengthens your stamina and normalizes the blood circulation in your body. Running the stairs should be done by fixing a time frame and then doing between this time rapidly. You can also increase the difficulty level by moving from regular stairs to sideways stairs. This exercise is really good for the lower body and also burns a great number of calories to strengthen your cardio health.

Jogging in Home:

It is not a must that one always has to go jogging outside home or has to use a treadmill for this purpose. You can do it without going out at any place in your home. If you have a lawn, well n good, otherwise you can run anywhere in the room or balcony. Jogging at such a confined place might be monotonous for many but you can get rid of this monotony by doing other exercises in between. All the exercises discussed above can be done with this jogging regime at home.
